Friday 4/2 Upper
Bench
worked up to 365x1
then did a few reps with 315

50 pullups
4x10- somewhat pleased with doing sets of 10
misc sets after

Tricep dip machine
4x10

Rear delt
4x10

Upright rows
4x10

Supposed to be a deload week this week, but the past 3 weeks have basically been a deload week. And I skipped deadlift weds. Going to put the uber loose briefs on tomorrow just to change things up and hit it hard for my leg day.

BW was 261.7 today. Losing it way too fast. Going to eat like a champ this weekend and then add a few more carbs in during the week to try and slow it down for a little bit. 285.2 on Feb 8. Who would've thought almost 25lbs in two months.

Are you saying that the part 3 weeks is a deload, 'cause your strength is down?

I still can't get over how lean you look, and as soon as your body adjust to the weight your strength will come back. Not 1RM, but there are other measures of strength. The spread on your back looks f*cking awesome man with the waist being narrow. I know to much bb'r shit for you.

Your fit, healthy, strong as hell, looking great. WTF else do you want there Chris?? IDK??

To be strong(er)?
I say the last three weeks have basically been a deload because 1) I have skipped/combined lifts, 2)intensity is 0 (maybe slightly above), 3) it has become too common that I do my main lift and maybe one other thing, if that, 4) developing weakpoints.
Mainly, I just need something to complain about. All things considered, things are actually going quite well. I am losing weight without doing that much steady state, I am actually getting in decent condition, I am recovering (this is really my main concern) from lifting and fire training, and I have maintained strength fairly well considering how quickly I am losing weight. The strength is something I just have to live with and I came to terms with the losses when I started dieting and fire training.

The spread is cool and all, but I'll take being fat anyday. I say that in all seriousness as I am on my way into the 250s and possibly the 240s eventually.

And I don't have to spend my days learning a bench shirt. I suck royally when I put my shirt on and am glad I don't have to deal with that thing for a while. And it is only a single ply.

Getting behind on posting. So off the top of my head.
Bench
up to 300x8

Squat
up to 415x8

Seated press
up to 170x8

Bench
up to 315x5

skipped deadlift this week. Awesome. I actually started to get sick on Mon so I took it easy to try and get over this bug and today was a little better. Cardio has been slacking. Still hovering aobut 261, but I only weighed myself once this week on tues I think. I may switch to a 3x/week with sunday squat, monday bench and then weds/thurs deadlift and seated press. 4 days is kind of becoming a lot on top of training, conditioning, diet, and cardio. Only about anothre month and a half until I can start hitting it harder again so it won't be too bad.

Weighed myself today at the gym. 259 and some change. This is a 4 or 5 year low I believe. I this week is anything like the previous weeks I will drop a mysterious 2-3lbs today as I remove my weekend carbs today. Hopefully this week or next I will reach my goal of 255 and 30lbs lost. The good news is that as long as I remain above 220 I will still be classified as obese on the BMI scale. I know that doesn't apply to athletes, but it is the little things I can enjoy.

I figure while I am doing this whole diet thing I am going to keep it going as long as I have to keep lifting secondary which will be until the end of June. Hopefully I can get down to 235-245 in the next two months and then when I can concentrate on lifting again I will do a small bulking phase and allow 10lbs to come back on. I am looking forward to that like you wouldn't believe.

Have you ever done anything in small increments ???

I can only think these gents have worked out with you ??!!

When you are 285 and 25-30% BF, losing weight is easy. Losing and easy = evil. Nuff said.

I move my 531 bench and seated military max up 5lbs a month. I'd say that is a pretty small increment. Can't think of any other examples though.

Ironically, today I pushed the prowler for 14 trips.
First 6 trips were 140lbs on sled. For the life of me, I couldn't get the sled moving. That might of had something to do with the 30 or 40 flights of stairs I climbed the morning on the stair thingy at the gym.

intermission of 3-5 minutes of me laying on the ground. No flu, just really out of breath.

Next 8 trips with 90lbs on sled. Over half of all trips were high handles.

This week kinda sucked. I hit my numbers and stuff, but everything was very difficult. I usually do a med carb day during the week to replenish, but not this week. That probably had something to do with it. That and the 2 mile run during pt.

Deadlift
525x1

Seated military
195x3?

Bench
305x5

I was 258 even during the week so I'm doing good on that.

Sunday
Squat
425x8

GHR and light reverse hypers

Prowler-marathon style

Mon morning bw 261.4
Tues morning bw- 257

My goal is to go the next 3 weeks without breaking diet, without skipping cardio, and without and cheating whatsoever (including my sat night pizza ritual). We'll see if that actually happens though. I think if I can cut 8-10lbs in 3 weeks I will be in good shape to finish this diet up in June.

Weds 5/5 Combo
Deadlift
up to 480x8

Seated military
up to 180x8

Pullups
SL leg press
Tricep ext

Prowler
140lbs
12 sprints @ 60 seconds or less rest alternating high and low handles
break
4 pushes at walking pace

Deadlift felt awesome today, killed it on the prowler, and BW was 257.4 in the afternoon which means there is a potential that it is 255-256 in the am. I don't know why, but deadlifting felt super easy today. It is weird because the past 2 months I have been struggling with it. I was doing awesome on the prowler. And then I finished the twelfth and I couldn't breathe. Catch 22 I guess. Saturday is supposed to really suck so I am going to deload for the next week. It was supposed to be this past week, but I planned ahead and went 5-3-1-5-deload instead of just 5-3-1-deload. I figure at 3 days a week with minimal accessory work I can afford to not deload every fourth week.

The catch-22 is that when you are dieting down, your energy levels get very cyclic. Especially in the beginning.
But if you're too heavy, the weight becomes a burden and you don't have the stamina to go to far...

Somewhere out there lies the perfect weight and the perfect diet. Maybe? Problem is I fly by that number "going up", and I fly past that number again "going down". Life sucks that way. LOL

Looking into it too deeply. Catch 22 of doing awesome on the prowler is it will give you a swift kick to the face shortly thereafter. And I've been dieting since the beginning of Feb, everything should be pretty stable. And everything was awesome despite being at my lowest BW yet. That was throwing me off too.
